FOR EOIN MACKEN!! Part II

HEY MR. MACKEN!

Well... these three last sins were very difficult for me but here they are... 

Before you read them, I want to thank you for accepting the request of reading my ideas. It's amazing to know that you would spend time reading ideas from people that want to open doors in this very complicated industry.   

SLOTH: 

(I heard this on a very needy neighborhood when I was doing some social research for college. Though, it’s a very common situation on movies) 

This is a story of a mother and a girl. This mother was very indifferent with all the things that happen to her little girl. She didn't help her with homework, or cooked for her… the woman was very, very “tired” or “sick” for paying attention to her child. As years went by, the girl grew up and become a very difficult person. She took every drug she knew, she steal from people or places… When people asked to the woman about her child, she always answered “Leave her; that’s her life; I can’t do anything about it; she doesn't want any help”. One night, someone knocked at their door and told this woman that her child (which was a teenager) had been found dead in a sprout, and forensics said it was from an overdose. 

Probably you haven’t heard it this way, but here we have a saying: laziness is the mother of all vices (bad habits). 

PRIDE: 

This is a professional engineer that is very intelligent. He is very capable, but he never listens to anybody. In fact, he is a very proud person. He doesn't take any advice of his parents or friends; he’s always angry, treating people badly... People are tired of him, so they decide to leave him alone. Though, he has built a huge construction company. One day, this guy makes a very bad decision on a deal. This makes that the company lose a lot of reputation and people stop doing business with him. He does everything he can to build again his company but in fact; it goes bankrupt and he loses everything. 

AVARICE: 

(This kind of an anecdote, it happened to me, PLEASE DON’T JUDGE!!!) 

People greed knowledge. They always want to know more than other people. I know people that don’t share it because they fear others use it to be better than them. At college, I saw this class called multimedia. I had this classmate that every time someone said something or answered something good to the teacher, he just exploded and gave a reason why the answer was wrong. One day, we (the class) were discussing the lesson because we were having a midterm exam. We were having problems to understand the sound format and its dB. We asked him for help, he told us that he wasn't going to tell us because that wasn’t he’s problem. I think we all ended up hating him… or at least I hated him. 

(This idea is not well developed, though I don't know why I'm writing it) 

There’s this old man that never got married. Although, he’s not all alone, he has a big family (He’s this kind of rich old uncle that never got married and takes and takes, but never gives… kind of Montgomery Burns). He has accumulated lots and lots of things in his home and doesn't want to share them, but these things have started to look old, with rust… wood is full with moths… he doesn't enjoy them, this “treasures” are just in his home, getting old. His family has asked him to get rid of them. Every time they ask for it, he becomes very grumpy and starts yelling at them. He doesn't feel any other need rather than have it all for himself. 

Remember you can use them if you want. Please don't forget you can always let me know if you need help. In fact, it would be GR8! Right now I'm still searching for a job, so I'm doing nothing and if I can be useful, that would be very "enjoyable".
